It’s been almost a year and a half since we’ve had a proper showcase dedicated to the latest PlayStation console. From then on, Sony will have to hit hard…
If the Japanese manufacturer should probably not be present at E3, that shouldn’t stop a new conference from airing for future PS5 hits.
PS5: the next showcase should “lay the foundations” for the future of the console
A few weeks ago, journalist Jeff Grubb assured that a State of Play would be held during the month of February. It’s already done, and even if the event in question is not one of the best vintages, several long-awaited games were still there like Resident Evil 4 and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.
More interestingly, Grubb similarly asserts thata showcase is planned for the summer start, and that it should “lay the foundation for the second phase of the PS5”. Indeed, the man spoke on the occasion of the Game Mess Decides podcast indicating that it will therefore be a “massive” event with several important announcements and other updates on already official titles.
Still according to the journalist, this showcase was originally supposed to take place in the fall, but it it was eventually delayed, as “the developers weren’t ready”. We therefore hope that this famous conference will soon be made official by Sony and that we will be entitled to big surprises!
Among the games whose presence seems inevitable, we think in particular of Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Wolverine, Silent Hill 2 Remake, or included The Last of Us independent multiplayer… As soon as we have more information on this subject, we will be happy to communicate it to you.
