Fans are not happy with the exclusivity of the title on PlayStation 5

Marvel’s Wolverine is the new project from Insomniac Games . The authors of Ratchet & Clank and Marvel’s Spider-Man surprise locals and strangers with a title that no one saw coming at the PlayStation Showcase . This time it’s not the wall-crawler of Manhattan, it’s Wolverine, Logan, Wolverine, an X-Men . The chosen one has a name and surname, it is the next video game from the Californian studio. It does not have a release date, but it will be coming soon to PS5.

Insomniac Games was undoubtedly the star of yesterday’s PlayStation Showcase , revealing 2 major projects that are already on the way: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine . Both games attracted attention, but the second title was the big surprise of the event.

The study confirmed that both games will be exclusive to PlayStation 5, so they will not reach PlayStation 4 . Obviously, there is no chance that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will debut on other platforms, such as Xbox consoles.

The same will happen in the case of Marvel’s Wolverine , which caused the anger of some players, who asked Insomniac for an explanation and demanded to release the game on Xbox. Some fans also asked the studio to release the game on PS4.

FANS ARE UPSET OVER MARVEL’S WOLVERINE EXCLUSIVITY ON PS5

Insomniac Games promoted its 2 new projects on social media at the end of the PlayStation Showcase. Some fans congratulated the company on its work and the reveal, but other players expressed their anger at the exclusivity of Marvel’s Wolverine .

For starters, several people are upset that the title will not have a version for PlayStation 4. Twitter users said that it is still difficult to get a PlayStation 5 in some regions and not everyone has the resources to get a next generation console. To this must be added the complaint about the absence of the title on Xbox.

Fans demanded exclusivity from Insomniac and argued that Sony does not have the rights to Wolverine as it does in the Spider-Man case. So several people joined the complaint and called for Marvel’s Wolverine to debut on Xbox as well.
