Another update for Pharaoh: A New Era was released today. It introduces support for ultra-wide resolutions and removes many bugs.

The developers at Triskell Interactive continue to fix Pharaoh: A New Era. Today they released another update to this strategy game. Among other things, it introduced a new feature and fixed a number of persistent bugs.

By far, the biggest change introduced to the game is support for ultra-wide resolutions. This will allow gamers using ultrawide monitors to fully enjoy the game. However, the caveat is that there is a possibility of errors with the image display.

In addition, in the update, we also receive changes to the balance of the game. Buildings such as temples, libraries or artist stages will be able to serve more people. Thus, the number of such facilities in a city can be reduced.

The developers also fixed a number of bugs. Minor issues such as interrupted animations for some buildings, missing minimap updates, or merchant ships crowding onto a single dock have been largely fixed.

The patch also fixes more serious bugs. – including those related to working on a monument that crashes after loading the game and causes savegames to be corrupted. Unfortunately, to do this, the developers had to roll back some bugs that were previously squashed.

The list of new features provided with the update is supplemented by interface fixes; for example, the in-game icon above a building has finally started to indicate that it has no connection to the road. The full list of changes is available here.
