Nintendo is officially repairing Joy-Cons for free in the UK, EEA and Switzerland, which are out of warranty ‘until further notice’

Nintendo has updated its support site for unresponsive/incorrectly responding Joy-Cons and states that the company provides free repairs for out-of-warranty controllers in the UK, USA. EEA and Switzerland “until further notice”.
Many consumers have discovered that this is something Big N already does. However, this now appears to be official policy.
Joy-Con drift has been a problem for years. Controllers that have the problem will register inputs even if the joystick is not moved.
Shuntaro Furukawa, President of Nintendo, formerly He apologized for Joy-Con issues. That hasn’t stopped some lawsuits from happening, but so far Nintendo has always had the upper hand..

Until further notice, you will not be charged by Nintendo in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom and Switzerland to repair Reactivity Syndrome, whether due to fault or wear and tear .
