Naraka: Bladepoint has a new hero, Akos Hu, “The Rebel Claw”. The latest update also adds new content, including a new Showdown level, reworked maps, balance changes, and a limited-time event.
Akos Hu is the focus of this update, and his arrival comes with the tagline “unleash the tiger”. He’s described as reckless and tough, and as “born free and bred by tigers”, and that will come into its own very soon. He used to be a military man, but now he’s fighting against the Empire.
His Roar ability damages enemies and also increases his own damage reduction by 30% for 8 seconds. Going into battle, hitting hard and fast, and coming out on top is much more possible here. His second ability: Roar: Explosion, deals damage in any direction you choose, hitting enemies with a shockwave. It does some damage, which isn’t surprising, but it can also be charged up to deal even more damage and knock enemies back.
Finally, it has Feral Frenzy, which lets you channel a Tiger Spirit to boost Akos Hu’s abilities on multiple fronts. You will jump, you can jump faster and even hit your enemies by throwing yourself at them or even attacking in the air. Activating his ultimate again will summon a tiger to attack with his claws or dash.
