Although F1 cars aren’t road legal and you won’t be able to drive one to work anytime soon, if you have a lot of cash and want to add a championship winning F1 car to your collection, we have good news.
Top Gear has announced that Michael Schumacher’s iconic Ferrari F1-2000 will be auctioned at RM Sotheby’s from April 3-12.
The car is known to be iconic, not only for its dominance in the 2000 season, but also for the start of Schumacher and Ferrari’s dominance in the early 2000s when they won the F1 championship five years from following.
As for how much the car is likely to fetch at auction, Schumacher’s 2003 winning F1 car recently sold for around £13m. So expect something along those lines for F1-2000 as well.
