If you missed the latest Marvel’s Midnight Suns Steam sale, you’ll be pleased to know that it immediately moved on to another one. There is one key caveat though: even if the superhero strategy game from the creators of XCOM is discounted at a bigger discount than before, you’ll actually be paying a bit more than the previous offer, because you will need to purchase an edition with additional cosmetic skins if you want to participate in the bargains.
The previous Midnight Suns sale, which saw the game free for a weekend as part of a 2K publisher promotion, discounted it by 40% for the standard and legendary editions of the game. This means you would pay £30 GBP / $36 USD for the base version, or £54 / $60 for the full bundle with the Season Pass which gets you all DLC packs including Deadpool, Venom, Storm and your favorite anti-hero from everyone, Michel Morbius. .
Now, even though there’s a 50% off sale, it doesn’t actually include any of these versions; instead, the only edition on sale is the Digital+ Edition of Marvel’s Midnight Suns, which is available for £34.99/$39.99. As well as the base game, this also gets you eleven “premium skins” for the game’s main cast of characters. was not selected in the last auction.
It’s not a huge price difference, but if you were someone who saw the initial 40% sale and decided to wait for a bigger discount, keep in mind that 50% discount will actually cost a bit more. However, if you still want to enter, Marvel’s Midnight Suns Digital+ Edition is on sale on Steam until March 15.
