A fan of Red Dead Redemption 2 decided to change the game’s ending slightly. In his version, it would be shocking and annoying for many, like the cheapest plot twists.
Red Dead Redemption 2, despite being several years old and being set in a fairly specific Western genre, is still generating buzz and raising “what if” questions for some fans. One of those fans is Georgian_Shark, who decided to redo the moving end of the game.
The user created a thread on Reddit, under the title “Imagine ending up like this” and posted the video below. In order not to go into too much detail, I will only mention that Arthur Morgan, the protagonist of RDR2plays a slightly different role. One where I would personally lose respect for the scripting decisions of the original developers.
Such an ending would evoke all sorts of emotions.
It’s all done via a mod that replaces the relevant character models and uses different lines of dialogue from the game. The effect certainly looks interesting.
The project has not escaped the jokes of the community. Some say the video above was directed by Shyamalan, famous for its twists, others compare it to Spanish soap operas.
There is also no shortage of users who find the idea interesting. In his opinion, this would be an exciting twist on the low honor version of Arthur from the end (there are four variations based on this aspect in the game).
Red Dead Redemption 2 has been with us since October 26, 2018. The game is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Although it was an unpopular Wild West story, the game achieved considerable success.
Too bad that against GTA 5 the results he obtained fade. We’ll probably be waiting a long time for the new installment, if it’s ever announced. For my part, I would already be satisfied with a remaster of the first game, as long as it is not made like Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
