Where to find the Shotgun Rail Attachment in Sons of the Forest
Before researching the shotgun rail, you must first obtain the maintenance card. Indeed, the attachment is inside a cave where you will come across a locked door. This locked door cannot be unlocked without the access card. Once you acquire it, head to the location shown in the image below, which is in the southeast part of the map.

Make sure you are well equipped before visiting the area, as there will be mutants inside. Getting the Katana or Pistol in advance will be a good idea as they will allow you to take them out instantly. Once you reach the location, enter the cave and move forward until you come across a locked door. Use the map to unlock it and go through the greenhouse. As you progress, you will come across a hallway filled with water. When you get to the end, you need to use the vent on your left to enter the office, where you’ll find the Shotgun Rail attachment and a VIP card.
The next thing you need to do is open your inventory and select the Shotgun Rail accessory from one of the cases to combine it with your shotgun. With the shotgun rail attached, you can add other accessories to your gun, such as flashlight and laser sight.
