Corestone is an invaluable crafting material needed to build almost anything in Wild Hearts. Crafting armor and weapons is a vital aspect of Wild Hearts gameplay, and resources are often split between a monster’s parts. Materials are hidden in each open world environment. Farming this material can be tricky, so this guide will help you get Corestone in Wild Hearts.

Where to find Corestone in Wild Hearts

Corestone is one of the many types of ore players can collect in Wild Hearts. Although it looks like any other material, we suggest thinking of Corestone more as a currency than a standard crafting material. It is used when crafting some pieces of armor, but when purchasing weapons, many weapon upgrades require Corestone. This resource can deploy quickly, given the number of updates this vital resource is tied to.

Find Corestone in open world levels

Luckily, Corestone can be found in a number of ways, but continuing to earn it is never explained in-game. The first and easiest way to get something is to go get it. Corestone can be found in all four levels of the open world. Check out the image above to see what Corestone nodes look like in-game.

Get Corestone as a reward for targeted hunts

Corestone is also a common reward for targeted hunts. Light a campfire, then select the Kemono you want to hunt. You will see a list of rewards with Corestone listed. These hunts are replayable at your leisure and will be a great way to build up Corestone and monster coins in the process.

Get it from the skill tree

We suggest you purchase the Tsukumo Ore Shrine Dragon Karakuri building from the Karakuri skill tree. When you create this structure, you passively get materials and minerals from the area. Build as many as you can to keep making a steady supply of Corestone and other rare minerals that you can use to upgrade your weapons and armor.
