The Hermitage Manhunt is no exception to this rule. . This quest sends you in search of a family crest to unite two long-lost brothers. And if the satisfaction of solving the family feud of two old men isn’t enough for you, you’ll unlock packaged explosives as a result of this quest. There really is something for everyone in this Lovecraftian fishing game.

How to Unlock Hermitage Hunt in Dredge

Southeast of Ingfell, you’ll see a red beam that leads to a ruined town. If you dock just before him, an old man named Hermit will approach you. Choose the dialog option “This place doesn’t seem safe. Why do you live here?” and will share how the collapse blocked it here. say you willhelp him move to Ingfellto which he will only agree if you help him make peace with his long-lost brother.
How to Find the Family Crest in Dredge

The big whale bone ridge you will have to go back up to Gale Cliffs. Prepare for your nautical expedition by cleaning your hold. The treasured family crest will take up a four slot in your inventory, so make sure you have plenty of space. Then sail to the starboard side of Hermit’s Harbor and set sail following the left edge of the cliffs. As you approach three abandoned shipwrecks, keep your eyes peeled for a shimmering golden aura in the middle of the water near the waterfall – this is your destination, the elusive dredging location for the coveted Family Crest.
How to Unlock Packaged Explosives in Dredge

With Family Crest in hand, it’s time to unlock the coveted Packed Explosives. Head to Ingfell and find the retired whaler, the hermit’s brother, to show him your precious catch. Choose the dialog option, “I think this crest is yours.”, and he will ask you to drop some annoying debris for him. The shipwreck site is located on Gale Cliffs, where a huge and hostile fish hides. So equip your boat with faster engines and get ready for a daring escape. Upon arrival, locate the area marked with yellow flags to blast the rocks.
When you return to see the retired whaler, he will ask you to bring his brother. Most importantly, he will start selling you packaged explosives. For $40 and two inventory slots, you can now blow up walls to unlock previously locked areas.
