The High Keep is a main quest you will embark on in Hogwarts Legacy. This can be a troublesome quest as it requires you to solve several small puzzles while trying to scale a ruined castle with your classmate, Natty. You will need to use a wide variety of spells to explore this place and uncover the dark truth of what is happening there. Here’s what you need to know to complete The High Keep quest in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to do The High Keep at Hogwarts Legacy
One of the first tasks you will need to complete after meeting Natty is to climb the ramparts. You can do this on the right side of the castle, away from the main gate. The first jump shouldn’t be a problem, but reaching the third level will be problematic.

Climb the ramparts of the upper keep
There will be a door to the left of your box that you can use the Depulso spell to open using the large lever. This should reveal a box on the other side which you can now reach.

You need to take the box out of this room. You can do this by using the Accio spell and use this spell until he is out of sight.

Once the box is out in the open, the next spell you need to use is Wingardium Leviosa, and now you can place the box in front of the open space. Unfortunately, this will not get you to the third level. There is another spell you must use. The final spell you need to use is Levioso, which will levitate the box off the ground. You can now dash the box and reach the second area.

How to open the front door
Now that you’ve reached the top floor, the next step is to open the front door so Natty can enter as well. You can do this by following the main path and then going to the right. You want to follow this road until you come to the other side. There is a box blocking your way. You need to use the crack in the wall to use Accio, dragging the box across the room before entering the next room.

The next step requires the Depulso spell. You have to use it on the door lever. You have to do this several times in a row until the door reaches the top of the room.

Once you reach the top, use Accio on the exposed ring and pull it forward to stop the door from falling. Natty should be able to enter and you can continue your search.

The next part of the search is relatively straightforward. You will follow Natty and discover that poachers have captured several hippogriffs and are trying to kill them. After following Natty, keep going and there will be another box on the other side of the wall. Use Depulso to push him from here and drop down where you can use Wingardium Leviosa to bring him to the broken stairs.

Once you put it down, use Levioso again and make it float, so you can access the next area, the ceiling.

The next area will contain several enemies to fight. Some of them will use shields, so make sure you have a wide range of spells at your disposal. If you’re careful and use the Disillusion charm, you can sneak up behind them to finish them off without a fight.
After defeating the poachers, open the level one lock in this area and proceed to the tower. You can expect several ambushes from other poachers along the way, but your path is extremely smooth at this point and you shouldn’t expect to find any other puzzles.
When you reach the top, a cutscene will play and you will have completed the mission with Natty.
