Hogwarts Legacy is full of spooky and treacherous areas. From the hidden herbology corridor to the restricted section of the library itself. As you progress through the game’s main story, you’ll eventually get the “Secrets of the Restricted Section” quest from Fig. This quest requires you to sneak into the restricted section of the library. Your friend Sebastian Sallow will offer you a hand in getting started in this area. But above all, he will teach you a spell to help you accomplish this risky task: Disillusion.
The Disillusion spell helps you open chests with your eyes and acts like Harry PotterInvisibility Cloak: You will not be seen while it is active. The spell will help you avoid getting caught by the prefects sneaking into this mission. But it’s not about throwing Disillusion left and right. This mission has its own sneaky mini-game.
How to Access the Restricted Section of the Hogwarts Legacy Library

To enter the Library, you have to wait until the Prefects are distracted. The one near the door should not face him and the other two should be together. So fire your shots carefully. Once inside, you’ll need to deal with the Librarian, and no, I’m not suggesting using Unforgivable Curses. At least not yet. You will need to take the key from the librarian’s desk.

After a simple stealth phase, you will be inside the restricted section. Don’t forget to check the top floor to grab a chest. Now comes the slightly more difficult part of the phase. Prefects and librarians are nothing compared to ghosts. And that’s your next stealth target. To fool the ghosts, you must aim the books in front of you so that they face that direction. Then hold the map around to activate the route and know which direction to go. Finally, dodge the next ghost and the stealth phase will end.
Continue through the corridors of the Restricted Section until you come across an Eyeball Chest that you need to open. It won’t be long before you can talk to a clown/jester. Once he’s gone, you’ll need to fight your way out using Reparo. Keep going until you activate ancient magic and go through a portal to the Athenaeum.
How to Access the Athenaeum at Hogwarts Legacy
As you go through the portal, look to your left to grab a chest. Then you will come to a ravine. A bridge will emerge if you base attack multiple times on the orb in front of you.
On the other hand, you will have to fight several pensive paladins. Continue until you reach a mysterious book. After picking it up, a story cutscene will trigger and you will be returned to the restricted section of the library with Sebastian. After watching another movie, the search will be complete.
