There are many quests that you will encounter as you progress through Hogwarts Legacy. Although most of these quests can come from other students and teachers, there are several NPCs in the highlands who offer tasks for you to complete. One such mission comes from Agnes Coffey. Looks like their adorable little pet Niffler has run away and wants you to try and find them. This guide will show you how to complete Rococo Rescue in Hogwarts Legacy.
Rococo Rescue Tour at Hogwarts Legacy
This quest will become available once you complete the first trial and reach the coast of Poidsear. After reaching this area, head southeast and locate the village called Baenburgh. You can find this area along the mountains south of Lake Marunweem. Once there, talk to the store owner, Agnes, and she’ll tell you about her missing Niffler.

After the discussion, head to the area known as Henrietta’s hideout. You may have already visited this area if you have completed the Solved by the Bell quest, as this is where you can find the music card that starts this quest. Once you reach the area, deal with the Ashwinders, then access the hideout using the door in the cliff below the ruins.

The first room in the hideout will be a puzzle that you need to complete to access the rest of the dungeon. Part of the puzzle is already complete because of the cooler that is on the plate in the room. For the other dish, grab the hearth by lighting the brazier at the base of the statue on the left side of the room. Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the box to the fire plate. Use a fire spell on the fire box and an ice spell on the ice box. This will open the door to the rest of the hideout.

The next room will be quite large and will have a hippogriff statue in the center. Defeat the Ashwinders then take the path on the left side of the room behind the statue. This will take you to the upper level of the room. Proceed and be careful with the moving floor. Use Revelio to see where you are, then use Arresto Momentum to stop the ground from moving when you step on it.

Follow the path until you come across another large room filled with Ashwinders. Defeat all the enemies, then locate the fire pit and the levitation box. The fireplace must already be in place or near the fire plate on the ground. The levitation box is on the left rear balcony. You must use Wingardium Leviosa to place the boxes on their corresponding plates. After that, cast a fire spell on the firebox and Levioso on the levitation box. This will open the bedroom door.

With the door open, go into the next room and look for Rococo. You can also pick up a fair amount of Galleons here through Rococo by keeping a stash. To trap Rococo, make sure to hit them with Arresto Momentum, then use your Nab-Sack.

Once you’ve caught Rococo, leave the hideout and return to Agnes. She will thank you for your efforts and the search will be over.
