A new Hogwarts Legacy mod makes it easy to change your appearance in the Harry Potter RPG at any time. Rather than requiring you to take an expensive trip to Madame Snelling, this mod for Hogwarts Legacy allows you to quickly and easily change your character’s entire appearance, as well as their voice, gender, and pronouns, as well as change their house on the fly.
Typically, if you want to change your appearance in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll need to head to the Tress Emporium in Hogsmeade, where you’ll need to rack up a sizable 20 Galleons for this privilege. Although Madame Snelling can alter her scars and complexion as well as her hairstyle and eye color, she is unfortunately unable to alter attributes such as her face shape and voice.
Enter the Hogwarts Legacy Character Editor. With the press of a button, this mod allows you to quickly open a menu anywhere on the Hogwarts Legacy map and freely modify almost any aspect of your character. This includes all of your standard attributes, as well as your character’s face shape, gender, pronouns, and voice. You can even change your Hogwarts Legacy house and family heirloom, if you want, although the mod’s creator warns that they “have no idea if changing houses mid-game can break things”, so use do it with caution.
The mod comes from the creator ‘nathdev’ and is already proving to be one of the most popular mods for the Harry Potter game thanks to its convenience and ease of use. If you’ve decided you’re not happy with how your character turned out, or you’re a little on the fence, you can now change your character’s skin faster than you can say “Wingardium Leviosa”.
Once you have installed the mod, just press the F5 key in game and the character editor will appear. From there, there’s a simple list of options you can click to change things up. Note that if you change gender, the game will need to load new character presets, but it should handle this automatically.

Harry Potter series creator JK Rowling has made a number of transphobic comments on social media in recent years. Warner Bros. has the license to create games based on Harry Potter.
