It’s fair to say that most of us had a fantastic time with RUSH HIFI since arriving on Xbox Game Pass in January 2023, and it’s about to get even better with the arrival of its first major update!
The big focus here is the arrival of photo mode, which seems like a great addition to the experience:

- Today’s Hi-Fi RUSH update adds Photo Mode, allowing you to take screenshots throughout your musical journey.
You can pause the action and pose Chai and his allies, then edit the scene with a combination of frames, filters and camera effects to create the perfect image!

- Resolved “UE4 Fatal Error” caused by specific shader settings
- Resolved “UE4 Fatal Error” caused by audio device enumeration process
- Fixed an issue where the game could hang during the fight with the WA-ES-2 (Samurai Chef) on track 10
- Fixed an issue where progress could get stuck on track 10 when purchasing items from the shop after answering Roquefort’s phone, leaving the level, then reloading the level.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the player from progressing during Battle 808 on Track 12
- Fixed a bug where token slots could not accurately reflect gameplay if purchased from the store while saving Rhythm Tower in progress, then loading the suspended Rhythm Tower and exiting execution.
- Adjusted calculation of stick and trigger dead zone
- The attack behavior of the QA-1MIL has been adjusted.
- Some Mimosa dialogs have been fixed (Spanish)
- Fixed an issue where Rhythm Tower result data would incorrectly influence “end result” track data when playing Rhythm Tower while a saved checkpoint exists for a current track.
- Fixed incorrect results for SPECTRA rooms being displayed in the final results if players quit the game after autosaving
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck on Track 11 if hit by the Giant Robot’s laser while using the Magnetic Claw.
- Fixed a bug where the player could continue playing after Rekka’s fight animation had ended.
- Fixed an issue where after taking damage during Rekka’s fight at specific times or after the endgame sequence, the player could move Chai.
- Adjusted an icon in the Training Room menu that could appear squashed
- Adjusted Holo Chai SP’s attack move so Chai’s hand doesn’t look super weird
- Adjusted display during pause menu transition to avoid visual errors.
- Adjusted VU-REV effects during Rhythm Parry Attack for clarity
- Adjusted the background during the battle with Rekka to remove the visual glitch when transitioning into the cutscene.
- Adjusted the “Game over” explanation to recommend the auto action so it doesn’t appear in inappropriate situations
- Tracks 3 and 4: The salary of Zanzo programmers corrected for inflation
