Mika in Genshin Impact fills a unique support niche that allows him to farm Artifacts very easily. Indeed, you should only use it for its elemental ability, which has almost nothing to do with its artifacts. Thus, what other characters need or want is more important when choosing artifacts for Mika.
To start with, the stats you need to focus on for Mika are his Energy Recharge and HP. His healing lowers his HP and he needs a lot of energy to use his burst. However, as mentioned above, you can really put whatever you want on Mika. Your stats don’t matter at all. In that sense, it’s almost ridiculously easy to build Mika because you don’t have to worry about picking artifacts with the best stats. Even though he absolutely sucks as a unit, he will still be an incredible asset to your DPS characters.
Some artifacts you can consider for Mika are:
4 CP Forced Nobility
While Mika’s Burst healing isn’t anything out of the ordinary, you can use his Burst to increase your party’s attack. Since his ability will also increase attack speed, this will greatly improve your overall DPS. Nobility 2-piece bonus increases elemental burst DMG by 20%. With 4 pieces, increases the ATK of all party members by 20% for 12 seconds when using his Burst. As a reminder, the 4-piece effect does not stack. So if you plan to use Mika on someone who already has the Nobility 4-piece set, you should swap Mika’s Artifacts for something else.
4 CP Exile
It’s very rare to recommend an artifact set that doesn’t have 5 stars, but Mika doesn’t need anything good. When equipped with 4 pieces of The Exile, it regenerates 2 energy for all party members over 6 seconds. Although Mika generates quite a few particles with his Skill, his Explosion is quite expensive. So if you want to be able to use it off cooldown, you have to make the effort to increase its energy recharge. Depending on who you use as DPS, an Exile Mika might be better for your damage. For example, characters who only rely on their burst for damage, like Cyno, may prefer an energy boost over an attack buff.
2PC Emblem of Severed Fate + 2PC Tenacity of the Millelith
This is a set of chimeras that aims to position Mika as your main healer. While Noblesse and Exile work best for a Mika which will increase your DPS damage potential, this combo makes the most of its Burst. A 2-piece set of Emblems increases energy recharge by 20% and a 2-piece set of Tenacity increases HP by 20%. This will help recover Mika’s Burst faster, as well as increase the amount of HP it heals.
As a reminder, Mika’s healing is very similar to Qiqi’s. You can only recover HP when you are in the Eagleplume state and hit the enemy with a normal attack. Mika’s heal also only affects the character on the field. Even when you unlock Constellations for him, he cannot heal other members of your party. So keep that in mind when building a team for Mika.
Genshin Impact is available for PS4, PS5, Windows PC and mobile devices. Mika is available in the gacha at all times since she is a 4 star.
