Just months after the release of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, fans are excited about the possible return of the “Armored Core Grip”.
In the past, developers and gamers held the controller Upside down to play Armored Core, thumbs resting on triggers instead of sticks and face buttons. It’s weird when you see the grappling in the tweet below, but it’s definitely something that has made the franchise stand out when it comes to its control systems.
It seems unlikely that this hands-on will be needed for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, as From Software envisioned the title as a gateway to the series for a group of new gamers. However, if you want to change the way you grab the controller, we can see an option for that.
Are you going to try the Armored Core Grip style?
