Genhsin Impact banners Hu Tao and Yelan have generated huge sales after only a few days of availability in the anime game. Honestly, this should come as no surprise given the popularity of both characters, as well as the strength of their signature weapons. Genshin Impact’s current character and weapon banners are definitely worth your while, for a number of reasons.
In general, Hu Tao and Yelan are considered top characters in the Genshin Impact tier list. The former is a powerful main Pyro DPS, while the latter is an equally capable Hydro sub-DPS. The best part about having them at the same time is that they work perfectly together when used on the same computer.
Additionally, his signature weapons, the Homa Staff Polearm and the Aqua Simulacra Bow, are excellent in the hands of various characters, making the second half of Genshin Impact version 3.4 something of a must-have.
It seems like a lot of players have been saving up for this opportunity as Alhaitham and Xiao’s banners from the first half of patch 3.4 didn’t generate sales numbers close to what Hu Tao and Yelan did, as you can tell see in the graph below.
This chart shows banner sales for Hu Tao and Yelan after their third day of availability, and is from GenshinLab, a site that collects data on Chinese app store sales to gauge the spending habits of a good portion of the RPG player base.
As you can see, Hu Tao and Yelan managed to produce around 19,835,133 USD/16,357,835 GBP after three days, ranking second behind Nahida and Yoimiya in the same time frame.
Those who still want to spend more Primogems on current banners still have a little over two weeks to do so. Genshin Impact version 3.5 will add Dehya and Mika to the growing list, along with some unnamed replays.
