The Genshin Impact version 3.5 update will add a new teleport feature that will make the Sumeru Serenitea Pot and Tubby mansion much less annoying to reach. In a recent dev chat, the anime game’s devs basically asked each other questions, and one answer touched on how awkward Sumeru’s treehouse can be. Genshin Impact version 3.5 will allow players to teleport directly to Tubby, instead of having to run to the treehouse each time.
To be more specific, HoYoverse adds a feature that allows players to teleport directly to their mansion from anywhere in Serenitea Pot.
“After update 3.5, you can teleport directly to the mansion location in Serenitea Pot using the map, making it easier to find Tubby,” they wrote, and while that might seem like a very small change, it really is a decent change. Improved quality of life for those who love the treehouse aesthetic.
It’s already possible to create teleport waypoints and place them around the Serenitea Pot for easy access to most locations, but you can’t place one at the entrance to the mansion. This means you have to travel a spiral path every time you want to get to both the mansion and Tubby, which is exacerbated by the customization of the teapot design.
The developers of HoYoverse also mentioned that there will be changes to Serenitea Pot’s replica system. The game currently allows you to copy other players’ kettle builds, but only if you have enough necessary materials; you just don’t have to build and place everything yourself.
The problem with this system is that it takes a long time to gather the necessary materials; by the time everything is ready, the shared ID to be mirrored may no longer be available. HoYoverse acknowledges this issue in the developer chat and states that the system will be optimized and updated in future releases.
There are only 12 days left in Genshin Impact version 3.4, so these small changes will be implemented soon. This also means that there is not much time left to support Hu Tao and Yelan before the 3.5 release.
