Very few teams in the history of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive have accomplished the feat of being called Intel Grand Slam Champions, a feat that requires winning four major events in the space of a year. And with Counter-Strike 2 coming, it looks like there won’t be many more opportunities for teams to join this exclusive club.
Yet the latest to mark their name in history is FaZe Clan, who after their recent win at ESL Pro League Season 17, completed the Grand Slam, with their other wins to come at IEM Katowice 2022, ESL Pro League Season 15 and IEM. Köln 2022.
FaZe Clan have achieved a feat that no other team has achieved as they are the only roster to have won both Katowice and Cologne in their Grand Slam campaign.
As for FaZe Clan’s sequel, with the Paris Major just around the corner, it’s likely the team is considering even more silverware for their trophy case.
