Some pretty credible rumors have surfaced online that Ubisoft’s subscription will be available on Xbox consoles starting next month.
There are growing signs that Xbox console users will soon be able to take advantage of Ubisoft+, a Game Pass-style subscription service that grants access to all of the publisher’s games.
- The source of the new reports is a highly reputable donor. ScriptLeaksR6. He was the first to recently report the imminent start of pre-orders for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
- According to him, Ubisoft+ will be available on Xbox consoles in mid-April this year.
- Some gamers are hoping the subscription will be part of Game Pass (such rumors surfaced last year), but that doesn’t seem likely. On PlayStation consoles, the publisher offers the most expensive version of PS Plus, the so-called Ubisoft Classics, a modified version of this subscription, where selected and mainly older games are available.
- Adding Ubisoft Classics to Game Pass therefore seems likely, but it’s more likely to end there, and you’ll have to pay more for the full version, which includes the publisher’s latest games and DLC.
- Some believe that adding Ubisoft Classics to Game Pass has become more likely after Microsoft recently launched a promotion where the first month of GP costs just $1.
