Bandai Namco has shared details of the latest old ring patch, and ray tracing is part of the update. Support is the most notable new feature. However, this will only be for the latest consoles. At the same time, PvP balance adjustments have been made and many bugs have been fixed.
This new patch, which brings the game to version 1.09, allows PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC players to enable ray tracing for old ring. To do this on consoles, just go to game options and enable ray tracing. For PC, on the other hand, the settings are made from the graphics section and it is activated if the device is compatible with this technology.
However, the company also warned that the use of ray tracing in old ring it can affect things like resolution and frame rate. To ensure the best performance, here are the technical specifications on PC:

As part of the patch, there were also adjustments mainly in the PvP section. Ashes of War properties have been changed, the power of some attacks has been reduced, and an invincibility window has been added for respawning in the Colosseum. This game update comes after the announcement of a DLC expansion for old ring, called Shadow of the Erdtree. So far, very little is known about it and no release date has been set yet.
