The free rival of FIFA 23 (which you can find on Amazon) continues to strongly consider community suggestions and feedback, as also seen in the latest update available now on consoles, PCs and mobile devices.
The new version of eFootball 2023 has indeed turned out to be particularly important and full of new features, as the developers had already anticipated in recent days, with updates to the rosters and above all game changes.
To celebrate the arrival of the new update, the development team has therefore decided to publish the complete changelog on its official page, also explaining in detail news and reasons behind some changes dedicated to the ongoing Season 3.
The innovations implemented with the new patch are really numerous: we will list you below all major news already introduced with the new version, as reported directly by the developers on their official website.
Additional Features
- Added “Friend Match” mode to Authentic Squad, which allows users to challenge their friends online with real teams.
- Changed selectable teams in “Test Match” to Authentic Squad.
- Added a new feature that allows you to select the order of penalty takers based on stats and status before the penalty shootout.
- Added filter function for reserves in the game plan.
- Added a new function in “Special Player List” under “Contract”, whereby users can sign multiple players at the same time.

- – Made improvements so that players with the skill “Aerobatic Finisher” perform Acrobatic Finishers more frequently, in appropriate scenarios. Improvements have also been made to the speed and accuracy of “Stunt Finishing” attempts.
- – Improvements made so that when issuing a “Shoot” or “Swipe” command close to an opponent, players make contact with the ball faster, as previously longer animations could be selected, resulting in a potential loss of possession of the sphere.

- – Implemented movement speed improvements for defending players to ensure proper game balance in response to other offense-related adjustments.

- – Implemented improvements to ensure goalkeepers make the correct decision to catch an incoming ball in the correct scenarios, as previously they may prefer blocking punches instead.

- – Implemented improvements to mitigate the issue of the goalkeeper falling after making contact with another player during a save attempt, preventing it from being made.

- – Improvements to the positioning of players in defensive situations, so that as the Atk/Def level increases, players begin to apply pressure to the opponent higher up the field.
- – Improvements to the ‘Possession of the ball’ and ‘Walk’ team playing styles, so that there are more support players in position to receive passes from the ball carrier, allowing for smoother offensive passes .
- – Implemented improvements so that players trying to break through the defensive line make more effective runs depending on the circumstances.
- – Implemented improvements so that lone attackers trying to break into the defense look for open spaces in a wider area before rushing in.
- – Implemented improvements so that players positioning themselves between defenders on potential goal chances run smoothly in the intended direction, without decelerating abnormally.
- – Improvements to inserting players into the opponent’s defense, so they move into spaces where opponents are less likely to intercept passes to them.
- – Improvements implemented so that when multiple players are in attack, the fittest ones try to insert themselves into the defenders
- – Implemented improvements related to full back overlaps (non-type “Defensive Full Back”) in appropriate scenarios.
- – Implemented improvements to have defenders positioned in front of the penalty area during corners and free kicks from deep opponents, as sweeps and second balls often went to opponents advantage.

Changes have also been made to the activation conditions, distance, and speed at which the defensive line drops, as previously the defensive line could fall back too far or become erratic.
- – Implementation of improvements on the execution of the Call pressing: when the opposing ball carrier is in a hurry, the whole team will position themselves in such a way as to facilitate the pressing more easily.

- – Improvements to cursor switching, which will now switch to a more appropriate player in scenarios where the ball bounces off the wood and comes back into play.
- – Implemented improvements for players to better avoid incoming shots and passes from teammates.
- – Implemented improvements so that when defenders block the ball with their body and gain possession, the player who lost the ball will not stumble in an unnatural direction.

- Made improvements to (Auto Pick) in Game Plan under Dream Team so that when there are multiple players with the same overall rating, the player with the highest playstyle skill gets priority.
- Improvements have been made to online matchmaking.
