Echoes of Empire, a space-based multiplayer strategy game, has announced plans for a playtest in April, along with an official release date for its beta. Players from the previous alpha should see a lot of improvements to the game this time around, as well as the first combat test!
Another title from Gala’s portfolio, Echoes of Empire, is announcing a new playtest in April as they prepare for their official beta launch later this year.
Scheduled for April 19-24, this upcoming playtest will only be open to those who own Celestial Claim NFT. Celestial Claims is an important part of the game as it allows players to lay mines and collect resources. Celestial Claim owners can also lease their mines to other players. Currently, NFTs for Echoes of Empire are only available on secondary markets.
This playtest will give players a first look at the game’s combat, as well as claimable points of interest (POI). The UI should also see an improvement with additional notifications and tooltips.
There will be more playtests ahead of the beta launch later this year, but we don’t have any information about them yet. Please expect that all progress resources earned during these playtests will be cleared before the beta is released.

And, somewhat surprisingly, the Echoes of Empire team also came up with a specific date for their beta release (they must have a pretty confident project manager!) scheduled for October 3, 2023, the Echoes beta of Empire will be available to the general public. .
Although there will still be improvements and feature additions after the beta release, this should be a milestone for Echoes of Empire, showing all the basics of the game and with the game economy and all the features basic in working order.

The Echoes of Empire is a sci-fi MMO 4x strategy game. Players take on the role of an aristocratic family and work to build their empire. Starting with a small space station, players pledge allegiance to a faction and attempt to leave their mark on the galaxy. Players can send their ships on missions and quests to earn rewards. They can also join guilds to fight enemies and gather resources scattered throughout the universe.
Along with the usual exploration and building of spaceships, players will also claim land and expand their influence, fight space pirates, and upgrade their base. Players can even claim royal peerage and announce their intention to rule over a section of space!
Players upgrade warships, repair fleets, and craft new weapons at the command post. Ships and bases can be upgraded and upgraded. Additionally, players own in-game assets through NFTs. Echoes of Empire is part of the Gala Games ecosystem.
