Thanks to surveys supposedly sent out by Electronic Arts, we’ve received another hint that the publisher is planning to develop new versions of Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3.

Released in January, Dead Space, a remake of the 2008 cult sci-fi horror, proved to be a massive hit. So we weren’t surprised when reports surfaced online that Electronic Arts was considering a similar update for the series’ second and third installments.

  1. EA has reportedly sent a survey to select players asking for their interest in possible remakes of dead space 2 there Dead space 3.
  2. The revelations come from a rather unusual source: it is DillonRogersi.e. the creator of the excellent stealth game Gloomwood.

These reports are not a particular surprise. The Dead Space remake includes an easter egg that hints at a possible update to part two of the series. What’s new is that EA is also planning to prepare a new version of Dead Space 3.

Given the success of the remake, developing more such projects seems like a natural move. However, there are plenty of opinions that EA’s Motive studio should be involved in the development of the fourth installment. This is the opinion, among others, of Trevor Gureckis, the composer of the music for the new Dead Space.

Let’s remember that the old-new Dead Space debuted on January 27 of this year. The game is available on PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5.
