Psyonix, the San Diego-based video game development studio, announces Drive Days, a new limited-time event from rocket league which will begin on April 26. Drive Days will offer players the chance to get a new car, the Redline, through event challenges, a new section in the Item Shop dedicated to showcasing new cars every week, and two limited-time modes.
Drive Days comes to the game with new challenges and rewards including the new Redline car, Redline Huntress and Redline Flames decals, Quick Jump decoration and much more. Players will also be able to obtain up to five Golden Toolboxes, which will reward players with items from the Nitro, Impact, and Accelerator series. Golden Toolboxes will be earned for free by completing the new challenges included in the Drive Days event.
During the event, a new section will be added to the Item Shop where up to 10 different cars will be on display each week. New cars include models like the Cobalt Octane ZSR, Titanium White Cyclone, Crimson Masamune, and Dingo. Two limited-time modes will also be available for the duration of the event. Heatseeker 2v2 mode will be available from April 26 through May 3, and Spike Rush mode will be available from May 3 through May 10.
The Drive Days event will be available on rocket league from April 26 to May 10.
