Disciples: Liberation – First trailer for the gloomy strategy role-playing game
After a break of more than ten years, the dark fantasy battles of the Disciples series return. Publisher Kalypso Media announced on February 11, 2021 that a sequel to Disciples 3: Renaissance called Disciples: Liberation should be released this year.
What is Disciples: Liberation about?
As in the previous parts of the game series, Disciples: Liberation will be a mix of Strategy and role play, which takes place in a dark fantasy setting. You take on the role of a hero or a heroine and fight a story campaign with three acts.
In the course of the plot you explore the game world Nevendaar and kill up to 270 main and side quests. Of course, there is fighting again, which is why you have to build up a strong army again. This is done by dealing with the four peoples allied in the game (humans, dwarves, elves and undead) and thus gain access to a total of over 50 different units. As in the previous series parts, the Turn-based battles off, the battles are reminiscent of the battles from the Heroes-of-Might-and-Magic series.
