Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020: World Update 3 for Download Today – that’s what you can expect
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 players will get access to World Update 3 today. Asobo Studio has not published a specific time for the patch release. However, if the developers do not change the previous release rhythm, the update should be available for download between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
It is already known which changes and innovations the update will bring about. Hobby pilots can look forward to new details for Great Britain and Ireland, among other things.
Asobo Studio promises a huge update with new aerial photos, more than 70 new landmarks, five additional airports (Barra, Liverpool, Land’s End, Manchester-Barton and Out Skerries), two new landing challenges and photogrammetry data for five more cities.
In addition to London, Cambridge, Oxford, Birmingham and Bristol will also receive new, more detailed images. Previously, the developers had to postpone the activation of world update 3 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
The reason for the postponement were problems with the implementation of the photogrammetry data of the new cities. In the meantime, it is already clear when the World Update 4 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 will appear.
A roadmap shows that Update 4 should appear as a download at the end of March. In addition to France, it also contains new recordings for the Benelux countries. We’ll keep you up to date in our news area.
