The release of Diablo 4 is right around the corner, with Blizzard’s latest entry in the legendary action-RPG series arriving in June. However, with Blizzard being a major part of Xbox’s quest to acquire ActiBlizz, there have been many questions regarding this title and whether it will be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Unfortunately, the answer is a resounding no: Diablo 4 No be on Xbox Game Pass at launch. The series’ general manager, Rod Ferguson, has confirmed the Blood that the team has “no plans” for Xbox Game Pass at this time.

This is understandable, especially as the Activision Blizzard deal continues to be scrutinized by various regulatory bodies around the world; we just don’t know if the deal will close. And given Activision Game Pass’ track record, we’re not at all surprised that Diablo 4 is skipping the service just yet.

However, that doesn’t mean the game won’t come someday. Xbox boss Phil Spencer has said the team will bring titles like Diablo to Xbox Game Pass once the deal is done, so Diablo 4 could be one for the future. For now though, the Blizzard team won’t be bringing their latest Diablo to Xbox Game Pass.

Are you still going to play Diablo 4? Let us know if you’ll choose this one.
