The demo version of Resident Evil 4 Remake is now available for download on all platforms.
The rumors we reported yesterday turned out to be true. During the Capcom Spotlight event, a demo version of Resident Evil 4 Remake was made available for download on all platforms, including PC, PS4, PS5, and XSX/S. The Steam version can be downloaded here, and for consoles, it can be found on the PS Store and MS Store.
This is significant because earlier rumors suggested that the demo would be exclusive to PlayStation consoles, but luckily that’s not the case. Now, all interested parties can check out the new version of Resident Evil 4 ahead of its release, which is scheduled for March 24. As an incentive, Capcom released three short teasers for the game, which you can watch below.
However, the demo version only offers the first chapter of the scripted campaign, which ends with an encounter with Chainsaw Man. It can be completed in about 15-20 minutes, so it’s hard to expect a full picture of the game from this. Nevertheless, players can grasp many of the changes, not just visual, that the new version introduces over the original, especially if they’ve played the latter.
It’s also worth mentioning that Capcom reminded us of the recently announced Resident Evil: Death Island animation, which is set to release outside of Japan in the summer of 2023.
