Content creator almost died

Call of Duty content creator Drif0r uploaded a new video to his YouTube channel talking about how he almost died when some viewers swatted him.

Around the middle of the video titled “Low Testosterone Almost Killed Me,” Drift0r mentions how the swatting of 2019 and 2020 contributed to his ongoing battle with low testosterone. He said he nearly died four or five times when armed people approached his home in Texas.

“I was beaten a couple of times last year,” Drift0r begins at around the 12-minute mark. “There was an ongoing problem with harassment. Another content creator streamed one of his fans walking into my house with a ski mask and a gun in what I personally viewed as an armed invasion.

The police took care of it in my front yard, thank god. There were loads of crazy, bizarre things going on. I almost died four or five times. There were other people who were armed. ”

Swatting

In so-called “swatting”, people call emergency services, the police or the like and issue a false report that is supposed to lead to an operation being triggered by a false alarm. There is usually a precise target where you want to trigger the false alarm. It is often streamers who fall victim to this crime.

Consistent violence

“Basically, there was constant violence against me and my family for almost a year. I worked super hard to keep it private and off YouTube. I mean, in a situation like this, you feel compelled to fall asleep with an AK-47 every night. Fortunately, some of the criminal people were arrested. ”

Drif0r said that all processes have been completed and nothing is stopping him from expressing himself publicly. He indicated that he plans to dig deeper into the experience in a later video.

2017

As early as 2017, the budding YouTuber published that he was very afraid of swatting. He fears that his dogs could be killed in action and that a panic reaction on his part could put his and his wife’s lives in danger as well.
