German automotive titan BMW has announced and shown a first look at a highly customizable moped it will bring to market. Known as the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept, this bike is built to be customized to your liking and has a design that screams beach-ready.
According to a press release, this Austrian-designed electric scooter was created with a ” target group of young people “and, despite this, it has a power unit capable of offering acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h in 2.6 seconds, in addition to a range of 130 km and a charging time from 0 to 80% in just 65 minutes.
“Everyone defines the mobility of the future in their own way. With the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept, we are now presenting our own idea of a stylish and multifunctional urban e-scooter that shows how mobility needs are as individual as each personality .”said Paul Brauchart, founder of Vagabund Moto.
“We haven’t reinvented the wheel, but we’ve taken a new approach to function. We call it harnessing the synergies between functionality and aesthetics in a way that fits everyday use.”

The BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept is expected to sell for around €13,000, and as to when one of these e-scooters might be seen on the road, no release date has yet been mentioned.
