Despite her timid demeanor, Sucrose, Albedo’s mint-green haired alchemist assistant, can pack a punch with her Anemo kit in battle. Much like Kazuha or Venti, his primary roles are Sub-DPS and Support, providing crowd control, and Whirlpool to trigger more basic reactions with his party members. Hitting C1 on his Constellations is a huge bonus, granting him two charges for his whirlwind applies elemental ability. However, this mechanism is not necessary for this sugar alchemist to be excellent in combat. Instead, understanding the proper weapon, gadgets, and team composition that suits Sucrose best is what will make her an effective Catalyst user.

The best weapon for Sucrose in Genshin Impact

Thrilling tales of dragon slayers and sacrificial fragments are excellent weapons for our Mondstadt alchemist. However, Sacrificial Fragments are the best weapon for Sacrose in Genshin Impact due to their ability to potentially grant him another charge for his elemental ability. TToDS is a solid choice, but a single character’s ATK boost is negligible considering how Sucrose’s Wind Spirit encompasses his entire team’s elemental reaction damage. Both weapons can be acquired from any Wish Banner.
Best Artifact Set for Sucrose in Genshin Impact

Just as Blizzard Strayer is a must-have artifact set for freezing cryogenic characters like Ayaka in Genshin Impact, it’s hard to recommend any other set for sucrose than Viridescent Venerer. Available in the Valley of Remembrance realm of Mondstadt, the Viridescent Venerer boosts Anemo and Swirl DMG while reducing enemies’ elemental RES to elemental reactions triggered by sucrose abilities.
The best team compositions for Sucrose in Genshin Impact

While there are Sucrose teams that are significantly better than others in terms of overall meta damage output in Genshin Impact, Assistant Alchemist’s Swirl and Anemo utility are so versatile that you can comfortably put it in dozens of possible compositions. However, to keep things simple, we recommend three teams where Sucrose’s abilities shine best, the first being Sucrose – Ayaka – Ganyu – Kokomi. Ganyu and Ayaka’s Freeze ability is one of our favorite battle mechanics, and Kokomi and Surcrose pair well for Swirling Hydro and Cryo.

The next step is the popular Sucrose Taser team, consisting of Sucrose – Fischl – Beidou – Xingqiu. The goal of this team is to apply Hydro with Xingqiu, after which you can create a host of electro-charged reactions with Beidou’s and Fischl’s Swirl enhanced abilities.

The third best team comp for Sucrose in Genshin Impact is the renamed “Sukokomon”, which refers to the “Pokemon-like” creatures of Kokomi, Fischl, and Xiangling combined with Sucrose’s wind spirits. The amount of elemental reactions this team can pull off makes them a great group to take into the Spiral Abyss.
