A new accusation for Atomic Heart

Atomic Heart has become a subject of controversy for its ties to Russia. According to the information, the Russian government should benefit financially from the sales due to his majority stake in the game.

In a statement originally posted on Ukrainian website Dev.au (and later in English on – Game News), Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation Alex Bornyakov said urged the owners of the platform to also limit the distribution of the game in other countries. Bornyakov spoke about it:

» Regarding the situation with the release of the game, Atomic Heart has Russian roots and the communist ideology of the Soviet Union. The Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation will send an official letter to Sony, Microsoft and Valve requesting a ban on the sale of digital versions of this game in Ukraine »

Furthermore, he urged the rest of the world to limit the distribution of this game. Toxicity, collecting data from potential users, and using the money to fund war are all good reasons for Bornyakov.

» We also want to point out that the game developers did not publicly condemn the Putin regime and the bloody war that Russia waged against Ukraine. »
