As soon as the game was released, many players expressed themselves through various forums and social networks to express their outrage at the presence of such an element. Following this, the studio just released a statement of apology, while indicating that it will be removed from the title very soon.
Atomic Heart Developers:
“The Mundfish team thanks the contributor PC Gamer for bringing this insensitivity to our attention. We apologize if the use of old cartoons or music has caused any harm or insult. We will edit the parts in question.”

In addition to this case, Ukraine recently asked Valve, Sony and Microsoft to remove the game from their stores. In effect, the Ukrainian government insisted on recalling that Mundfish had not issued a press release condemning the Russian attack on its territory, to which the studio replied that it wasa “pro-peace organization” that does not comment on politics.
