Ubisoft has released a new update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. As reported by the developers via the short message service Twitter, they recently published a server-side patch.
In the forum for the action role-playing game, they say that after the update, the Jomswikinger should no longer appear from the same player.
If this continues to be the case for you, the developers recommend that you first create a manual save. Then close Assassin’s Creed Valhalla completely and then reload the savegame. Ubisoft does not apply any further hotfixes with the current server update.
In addition, the developers share the list of known problems and bugs in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla having updated. Based on the forum post, Ubisoft reveals which bug fixes the developers are currently working on- and which ones may be added to the action role-playing game in upcoming updates.
So it can happen in the quest Road to Hamartia that Halfdan does not follow you. In addition, in some cases the Twists and Turns task cannot be completed because Birstan is stuck in the game world. Even at Plucking The Quill, players are currently reporting that they cannot complete the quest properly.
In the river raids of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, on the other hand, an autosave could block the progress if you want to hand over clues to Vagn. Further details on the upcoming bug fixes – together with current workarounds – can be found in the Ubisoft forum under this link. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available in stores on PC and consoles.
