Between us is back with its latest update, with version 2023.3.28 now available on Switch.
To celebrate April Fools, an improved Horse mode returns between March 31 and April 2. The game also received new cosmetics and more.

- New cosmetics! Check out the in-game store for several new cosmetics, including hats, dog tags, and a visor. Best of all, they’ll only cost BEANS! And luckily an impostor slapped some of the prices on the dog tags to make them cheaper than they should be. We’ll fix it in the next update, but for now, enjoy!
- THE DAY OF THE INNOCENT IS COMING. Can you hear it? The hoofbeats echoing through the halls of Skeld and across the alien landscape of Polus? That’s right: an improved horse mode is back for April Fool’s Day from March 31 to April 2! It’s quite a HORSE weekend! In case you missed it last year, we turned all teammates into teammates. That’s all. It started with a joke peep we did it 2 years ago and it got out of hand because we laughed so hard at the idea. The best part? We’ve added a brand new horse fight mode… Also known as hide and seek mode, it will become a surprise for horses. Be sure to come back around April Fools to see what we have planned.

- (Hide n Seek) – Players will no longer get stuck on a black screen if the Seeker leaves during the reveal screen. Players will see a reveal screen and once the game has started, the game will end with “Imposter Disconnected” if a new Seeker is not chosen.
- (All Modes) – Task arrows no longer get stuck on screen after a comms sabotage
- (All Modes) – Players will no longer see lobbies mixed in with Skeld assets
- (Hide n Seek) – Players can no longer be killed while the vent animation is complete.
- Due to latency, the animation may still play under certain circumstances.
- (Hide and Seek) – Imposter can now “click to kill” when a ghost is directly above another player’s teammate.
- (Airship) – Imposter or Seeker can no longer hang on the wall when trying to kill a teammate while climbing a ladder.
- (Nintendo Switch) – Ad links will open correctly in the Switch browser
- Player skins now load correctly in Crewmate when spawning in the lobby
- The shapeshifting animal now displays correctly if the impostor shapeshifts into a teammate with a pet.
- Players stuck in the friends list are displayed correctly
- Fixed right arm death animations
- Winning or losing a match in practice will now reset the practice game
