wondering about the new Destiny 2 Lightfall Exceptions? No need to mess with your collections – we’ve got a full list of all new exotic weapons and armor waiting for you in the latest expansion.

If you are wondering where you will find these golden items, we can help you too. Generally, new Exotic armor pieces are earned by completing Destiny 2 Legendary Lost Sectors and the Lightfall Raid, while new Exotic weapons tend to be tied to quests; more on all of that below. Old Exotics, weapons, and armor can be purchased from Xur, dropped from certain activities, or if you’re really lucky, just while you’re in the world. Read on for a full list of every new Exotic in Destiny 2’s Lightfall expansion; at this point, note that you will need to have the latest extension to access it.

All Destiny 2 Lightfall Exotics

Here is the full list of Destiny 2 Lightfall Exotics:

  • Abyss jump (Titan Leg Armor)
  • Cadmus Ridge Lancecap (titanium helmet)
  • conditional objective (stasis rifle)
  • Facade of Cyrtarachne (Hunter Helmet)
  • deterministic chaos (empty machine gun)
  • Last warning (Weapon side strand)
  • mercury storm (Strand Auto Rifle)
  • Speedloader Pants (Hunter Leg Armor)
  • swarms (Warlock Leg Armor)
  • Curva Ice (Stasis Bow)
  • vexcalibur (empty sword)
  • winter bite (Stasis Glaive)

Leap Abeyant – Titan Leg Armor

This exotic piece of armor works in conjunction with the Titan Barricade. Putting it on gives the wearer extra armor when using their barricade and generates two homing projectiles that aggressively track down targets and suspend them. “Suspend” is a new verb used with Strand subclasses and is found to be extremely strong, and Titans can mix it with specific shards to develop powerful Strand constructs.

Cadmus Ridge Lancecap – Titan Helmet

Turning defense into attack, Cadmus Ridge Lancecap creates a nearby Diamond Lance behind your rally barricade. Hitting an enemy with this spear creates stasis crystals, with more created if you manage to connect with a boss or vehicle.

Conditional Objective – Stasis Shotgun

The Destiny 2 Root of Nightmares Raid Exotic is the Conditional Finality, a double-barreled shotgun with Stasis rounds on one side and Solar rounds on the other. Landing almost all Stasis pellets freezes enemies while landing almost all Solar pellets powers them up. Note that you can combine this with shards that amplify the effects of frozen or flaming targets to create extremely powerful builds. Additionally, for the first time, Bungie has introduced a system where completing specific Raid Triumphs increases Exotic chance.

Cyrtarachne Facade – Hunter’s Helmet

This Exotic Hunter helmet provides additional protection by granting body armor and flinch resistance after a catch. It is powerful alongside the game-based subclass Hunter’s Threadrunner Strand, given that the subclass was designed with grappling hook mobility at its core.

Destiny 2 Lightfall Exotic Item List: Chaos Deterministic Void Heavy Machine Gun.

Deterministic Chaos: Void Heavy Machine Gun

Described as “rhythmic”, this Void-based machine gun works in such a way that every fourth bullet turns into a heavy projectile that weakens targets on impact. Every sixteenth heavy shell makes the target volatile on impact. When paired with specific aspects and shards that capitalize on debuffed and volatile targets, this weapon is a force to be reckoned with when equipped with the right builds.

Destiny 2 Lightfall Exotic Item List: Final Warning Strand Exotic Weapon.

Final Warning: Strand Kinetic Handgun

This energy weapon releases charged tracer rounds. By holding down the trigger of this weapon, it marks targets and fires a flurry of bullets. Projectiles will also aggressively track towards marked targets when fired from the hip.

Lightfall Exotics: A Sleek, Futuristic Assault Rifle

Quicksilver Storm – kinetic auto rifle

The Quicksilver Storm is a kinetic auto rifle that uses Cloud Strider technology to convert into a rocket launcher and then a grenade launcher. Hitting multiple hits turns your projectiles into a micro rocket, and after landing multiple rockets, you can switch between modes and a grenade launcher. Although its use is limited to specific instances, overall it’s a fun gun to use and comes with corkscrew rifles, high caliber rounds and hand laid stock as perks . Completing the Quicksilver Storm Catalyst quest turns the Auto Rifle into a Strand weapon and allows you to spawn threads with the final shots of your Grenade Launcher.

Speedloader Slacks – Cazador Leg Armor

These stylish pants aim to improve reload speed, maneuverability and efficiency in the air. The beauty of Speedloader Slacks is that your nearby allies will also receive these buffs while active. Continue the killstreak to extend the benefits of Speedloader.

Swarmers – Warlock Leg Armor

The Warlock Strand Broodweaver subclass is among the most unique in Destiny, and this piece makes it even more powerful. Harness the power of the Strand to spawn “threadlings” that infest and attack enemies after destroying tangles, which players produce by defeating enemies with the Strand.

Frost Curve – Arc of Stasis

The Exotic Season Pass is shaping up to be pretty silly. It features an icicle for an arrow and can freeze multiple enemies at once with its Hail Barrage perk. Exotic bows tend to be strong in Destiny 2, and this one is no different. There is also a catalyst quest you can start immediately after picking up the bow, which only serves to make it stronger.

Destiny 2 Lightfall Exotics - A bright blue futuristic looking long spear.

vexcalibur

Added during the first weekly reset, the Vexcalibur is an exotic glaive that is unlocked through a secret mission in the EDZ. The glaive’s intrinsic trait, M1R Distribution Matrix, fires a series of projectiles and gives the weapon a fast-draining shield. Blocking damage with your shield grants you and nearby allies a Void Overshield.

Destiny 2 Lightfall Exotic Item List: The Winterbite Exotic Glaive.

Winterbite – Stasis Heavy Glaive

This Glaive releases a large ball of stasis energy that locks onto targets and freezes them. Since various Stasis skins and shards increase the potency of damage dealt to frozen targets, you should be able to combine this with Destiny 2 Best Stasis Titan Builds, Best Hunter Stasis Builds, and Best Warlock Stasis Builds for maximum carnage. For example, with Whisper of Refraction’s Stasis Fragment, defeating slowed or frozen targets grants energy to the class ability. With the Whisper of Bonds Shard, defeating frozen targets grants super energy. As long as the player has a steady stream of heavy ammo, equipping this glaive with the appropriate Stasis build makes for an extremely powerful combo.
