The Mexican Natalia Lafourcade with ‘D todas las flores” has won the award for best recording of the year at the 24th edition of the Latin Grammy, which are awarded tonight in Seville.
The producer of the recording, Adam Jodorowsky, while accepting the award said that he has promoted many recordings and has worked with many artists, but that Natalia Lafourcade seemed to him to be someone special.
Among the ten finalist recordings for this award were “No es que te extrañe”, by Christina Aguilera; “Carretera y manta”, by Pablo Alborán; and “Déjame llorarte”, by Paula Arenas and Jesús Navarro.
Also selected as finalists were “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53”, by Bizarrap and Shakira; “Si tú me quieres”, by Fonseca and Juan Luis Guerra; “Mientras me curo del cora”, by Karol G , and “Ojos marrones” by Lasso.
Also finalists for this award were “La fórmula” by Maluma and Marc Anthony; “Despechá” by Rosalía; and “Correcaminos” by Alejandro Sanz and Danny Ocean.
