The Government of Mexico will require that Venezuelan citizens apply for a visa to enter the country, as announced by the Government Secretariat in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
With the publication of this agreement, Venezuelans who want to travel to Mexican territory must apply for this visa as visitors and will not have the possibility of carrying out paid activities, according to the document.
This new requirement, which will take effect within 15 days, had been announced by the Government of Mexico for a few days, in order to put a stop to the trafficking of migrants through this country to the United States.
