Britney Spears recalls Christmases with her children: “They only visited me for two hours”
Britney Spears has posted a new story about her family on social media. This time about her sons, Sean and Jayden.
The Princess of Pop revealed that during the end-of-year holidays, the boys would “abandon” the dinner she had made and “immediately” go to the mall to return and exchange the presents she had given them.
The published video, now deleted by the artist, showed two parents behaving badly in their children’s home, doing things like dropping backpacks, toys and coats on the floor, as well as leaving garbage in their rooms and scribbling on the walls.
“As a mother we know how hard it is when our children play video games and leave wrappers and food all over the floor and don’t clean up. Every year I cried hoping to see more and more of them and there were no answers,” she recalled.
“Every year, on Christmas Day, I had a tree full of presents and they only visited me for two hours, got rid of the Christmas dinner I made and immediately left for the mall to exchange the presents and get what they really wanted,” she wrote in the post.
In 2020, TMZ reported that Britney Spears was celebrating Christmas early with her children. At the time, the website pointed out that the singer was only allowed to spend a few hours with the boys, who returned to the home of their father, Kevin Federline, for the eve and the holiday itself.
During the American summer, the boys moved to Hawaii with their father. In May, Kevin Federline’s lawyer claimed that the two had not seen their mother for more than a year, while they were closing the custody agreement on their move to the island. In addition, they were determined to leave without saying goodbye to the singer.
It’s worth remembering that Britney Spears is ready to tell her story in her memoir, “The Woman In Me”. The material will arrive in Brazilian bookstores on October 24 through the publisher “BUZZ”.
The book comes about a year and a half after the US courts ordered the end of the curatorship to which the singer was subjected. For 13 years, Britney Spears’ life and career were controlled by her father, Jamie Spears, who is now accused of abusing and exploiting his own daughter. Before the announcement was made, rumors had it that offers of up to US$ 15 million had been made by literary agents to the pop star.
