Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, one of the leading talk shows in the United States. During the chat, the singer ended up making an unusual revelation about one of her biggest hits, which left her fans surprised.

During the conversation with the presenter, the voice of “What Was I Made For?” was asked if there was a song that made her “uncomfortable” right now.  According to Billie Eilish, the song in question is “bad guy,” responsible for topping the charts in 2019.

“Objectively, ‘bad guy’ is the stupidest song in the world, but it’s really good,” Billie Eilish said, laughing and calming the audience.

“It’s like you have to understand, you have to have humor in it. Like, I’m trolling in that song. That song is supposed to be silly, but it’s funny because it’s silly. It’s literally, like, ‘Duh.’ Like, what does that mean?” Billie Eilish said.

Billie Eilish then shared her own thoughts on artists who “really hate their music” and explained how this brings a frustrating feeling and a sense of “why are you doing this then?”.

“I feel like we’re both fans of what we do. I love my own music and it definitely changes and transforms with me. I’m still embarrassed, but I appreciate it,” she added.

“bad guy” was the fifth single from the album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” (2019) and reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles charts, as well as winning the “Recording of the Year” and “Song of the Year” categories at the 2020 Grammys.
