René Pérez Joglar, better known as Residente, used his social networks to respond to J Balvin, with whom he has had various confrontations in recent days due to the Latin Grammy.
The Puerto Rican artist had compared the interpreter of “In Da Getto” to a cart of hot dogs. “Many people may like it or almost everyone, but when those people want to eat well, they go to a restaurant.” He said in one of his comments.
Although J Balvin responded that he respected his opinion, his father came to the front to mock the critic of the resident: “Do not harass a genius who, feeling attacked, draws out his arsenal of intelligence. Peter Drucker said. Good that Josecito”.
Residente unloads his artillery:
The Puerto Rican recorded a new video explaining the reasons why he considers that J Balvin is not a good person, and why did he have to delete the first video where he compared his music to a hot dog cart.
“Tell your old man that instead of comparing yourself to the economist Peter Drucker, as if you were an economics genius, to teach you values because not everything in life is business and money. Money is important, it is necessary, but not everything is that. There is also honesty, loyalty, that loyalty that you had neither with Rebeca León nor with Juanes”, he questioned.
“There are also the street codes, speaking up front, having compassion for others, the same compassion I had when you called me crying when I uploaded the video and asked me to please download it. I put it down. You ended up calling everyone to find me. You left me like eight messages on WhatsApp telling me false and on the networks you write me ‘I respect your opinion’. What could be more false than writing me a*** on WhatsApp and in front of people make yourself the best?” Resident lunged.
He also recalled that both had agreed to delete their publications and that at the end of their conversation they agreed not to talk about the matter again, however, the Colombian would have broken his word.
