J Balvin He fuels his confrontation with Resident. After the controversy unleashed on social networks after the Colombian criticized the Latin Grammys and the Puerto Rican responded by comparing Balvin’s career with a hot dog cart, now there is a new message from the interpreter of “Ay Vamos.”

Through his official Instagram account, the Colombian interpreter had no qualms about promoting the launch of the remix version of the song “Sal y perrea”, along with Sech and Daddy Yankee. The striking detail are the photographs of the post.

In the images you can see José posing next to a hot dog cart, a clear allusion to the message that Resident gave him a day before when comparing the Colombian’s career with this object.

THE CONTROVERSY

As it is remembered, last Mars, when the Latin Grammy nominees were known, Balvin called for a boycott. “The Grammys don’t value us, but they need us. Those with power in the genre, none should go. That is to say, all of us, because we are a movement ”, he pointed out on Twitter.

In this regard, many singers and musicians spoke, including Resident. “I would believe you about the boycott if, I don’t know, last year when you were nominated 13 times you didn’t go to the Grammys. But there you didn’t ask for a boycott. You sure had a change of clothes for each award. But since you won only one Grammy out of the 13 nominations, now the boycott is back ”, Residente said in a video that he later deleted from his social networks.

“I’ll explain to you so that you understand: your music is like a hot dog cart, which many people or almost everyone may like. But when these people want to eat well, they go to a restaurant and that restaurant is the one that earns Michelin stars ”, added.

It should be noted that the 22nd edition of the Latin Grammy will be held on November 18, and will pay tribute to Rubén Blades for his outstanding career and his contribution to Latin American music.
