Daniella Álvarez resumes Physical activity after losing her Leg and sends a message of Hope

After several months since the amputation of her left leg, the model and former Miss Colombia Daniella Alvarez revealed that doctors gave her little chance to run or jog again; however, she has taken control of her life and resumed her physical activities.

Although the doctors gave her little hope of resuming her routines, the Colombian did not sit idly by and showed that, with her prosthesis, she can perform physical activities, such as running and jogging.

Through her official Instagram account, Daniella Álvarez shared a video in which she shows her progress and reappears exercising on the street. In addition, she was happy about her progress.

“Against all odds I was able to jog! My physios and prosthetics technicians never told me that I wouldn’t make it, but they didn’t give me hope either because they didn’t know how my right foot would behave as it wouldn’t help my propulsion”, she told in herpost.

“I never doubted it, in my head there is only the I CAN. When I let go of the hand of my physio and I saw myself jogging alone, I was crying inside with emotion. It has been the same every time I have achieved something for the first time AGAIN, proving to myself that everything is possible despite the degree of difficulty” she added.

As it is remembered, a few days ago the model worried her followers by sharing difficult news. According to her post, Álvarez confessed that her right foot “will not work again, according to the medical results.” However, this has not been an impediment for the Colombian to show her willpower.

As she said at that time, her family has been her greatest strength to not to get depressed. “Today I know what my mission in life is and I understood that God is making my task a little more difficult to be able to show many people that what we have is more than enough to achieve what we propose. I am happy and calm because every day when I get up I decide to feel like this”, she specified.
