This week the singer, who already revealed her bisexuality in 2016, is back in the news for declaring herself as ‘pansexual’ during a TV interview. “I’m actually pansexual, but I didn’t know it,” the actress has revealed on ABC News’ Nigthline program that airs live.

Although it is a denomination that is not admitted in the dictionary of the RAE, this would be a sexual orientation characterized by romantic or sexual attraction to individuals regardless of their gender or sex. In other words, she would not rule out men, women, transsexuals, intersexuals, hermaphrodites, etc. when choosing a partner.

The 21-year-old has just published a book called The Life of a Wannabe Mogul: Mental Disarray where she talks about how traumatic her childhood as a Disney star was.

Bella has also talked about the sexual abuse she suffered as a child. “Being abused from the time you’re 6 years old until you get to 14 is pretty harsh circumstances,” she explained on camera. “You’re being physically abused all the time. It seems like a much more f***ing difficult situation than being chased by paparazzi from the time you’re 12,” she added.

“It’s pretty hard in my mind to think about all those flashes of photographers, and all those people who thought they knew me and talked about me but had no idea what kind of abuse I was dealing with all the time. Abuse that everyone around me knew about but did nothing about,” she said.

Between 2010 and 2013 Thorne co-starred in the Disney Channel sitcom, Shake It Up, and although she was already known for her other work with HBO, she became known worldwide as a Disney girl.
