Ángela Aguilar premieres new song and this is what “Invítame un café” with Steve Aoki sounds like
Ángela Aguilar boasts the premiere of her new collaboration with the famous musician Steve Aoki, and this is her video.
We are just a few hours away from hearing the new song that Angela Aguilar, the so-called “Princess of Regional Mexican” this time is a collaboration with renowned DJ Steve Aoki, so fans of both artists are already looking forward to hearing this new song.
It was a few hours ago that both Steve Aoki and Ángela Aguilar launched through their social networks, however, this morning an exclusive preview of “Invítame un Café” was presented, the song that promises to be the new hit of “La Princesa del regional mexicano”.
It was through the program Hoy that the hosts of the broadcast presented a brief preview of what “Invítame un Café” sounds like, and no, it is not the same one that the artists shared on social networks yesterday.
In this preview you can see Angela perform a fragment of “Invítame un Café”, while dancing to the rhythm of Steve Aoki’s mix, the seconds we could hear of this song, the young regional Mexican interpreter sings a piece of the song “La Gata bajo la lluvia” performed by Rocío Durcal.
“I know, don’t say anything for real, if you see any tears, I’m sorry, I know you didn’t want to make a wounded cat cry, oh love, if we ever see each other around, invite me for a coffee and make love to me and if I never see you again, I hope you’re lucky…”, Ángela Aguilar sings.
And although we have not heard the complete song to determine if it is the complete cover of “La Gata bajo la lluvia” released in the 80’s with the voice of Rocio Durcal or if they only use that fragment as part of the mix of this new song.
We will find out once we hear the full song and for that we still have to wait at least a few more hours, as the premiere of “Invítame un Café” will be this Friday, June 16.
It has not yet been revealed whether it will be through Steve Aoki’s official Youtube channel or Angela Aguilar’s, so we will have to keep an eye on the social networks of the performers, to have details of this information.
It should be noted that this would not be the first time that the Florida-born DJ works with regional Mexican stars, as a few months ago he collaborated with Natanael Cano, interpreter of corridos tumbados, the same song that was very well received by his followers, so it is expected that this new collaboration will have the same response as the aforementioned.
