Chihuahua, Chihuahua – Governor Maru Campos announced the investment of 13.5 million dollars that the U.S. company Regal Rexford will make in Chihuahua, where it contemplates the creation of 240 new jobs, with operations in an industrial building of 125,000 square feet, located in the second stage of the Bafar Technological Park.

The announcement was made during the state governor’s working tour of France, where she is participating in the Paris Air Show 2023 Aerospace Fair.

At the Mexico Pavilion, she held a meeting with Jamie Quilter, Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer and Aerospace Sector of Rexnord Corporation, where both shared details about the start of operations of the company in Chihuahua.

It was in 2021 when the corporation began the search for locations in Mexico and selected the capital of Chihuahua as the best option for investment.

The company will manufacture the connection mechanisms for aircraft and helicopter stabilizers, which are critical components for safety, with advanced materials and specialized processes.

By promoting this project, the State Government is also supporting Chihuahua companies such as HT-MX, a potential Regal Rexnord supplier dedicated to heat treatment processes.

In addition, the local consulting firm Prodensa, would be in charge of supporting this new operation, regarding the real estate to be occupied by the American company, for the installation of its plant and corporate offices.

The High Technology Training Center (Cenaltec) is working on a personnel training program for this specific project.
