Both iconic cars of the brand will have a new model called Scat Pack Swinger that will give the vehicles a retro look

Dodge has defined the future of the brand’s iconic models, Challenger and Charger, incorporating electrification in variants to come.

A few weeks ago, this inclination was confirmed by the brand owned by Grupo Stellantis. Now, it has chosen to give a retro touch to the models through two variants that are part of the seven Dodge “Last Call” special edition models.

In this way, the Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Swinger 2023 and the Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack Swinger 2023 will be the third and fourth models, respectively, that the firm plans to manufacture, being the Dodge Challenger Shakedown 2023 and Dodge Charger Super Bee 2023 the first announced.

Vintage features

Through an apple green stripe across the trunk and part of the sides, these cars hope to emulate and pay homage to the classic 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger.

Sure, these 2023 versions boast a bevy of physical and aesthetic features at the forefront of today’s technology, but with the little Swinger touch that brings back much of the car’s history.

The color section will be varied, as Dodge has confirmed that the F8 Green, Sublime Green and White Knuckle options will be available. In addition, unique and classic touches such as the Gold School badge were added, as well as having retro-style wheels next to the painted Shaker entrance (available only for the Dodge Challenger).

It should be noted that only 1,000 units of each car will be produced, where a commemorative “Last Call” plaque will be placed under the hood.

“The name says it all: The originals had a unique and fun character, and that’s the same reaction we expect with our 2023 Dodge Challenger and Charger R/T Scat Pack Swinger models,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand executive director. .

“Dodge Swinger models have always held a unique place in Dodge’s pantheon of muscle cars, so these modern models bring that fun back to life,” he concluded.
